Grandma came to visit too!
I had lots of visitors today! Along with Mommy, daddy and grandma, my great grandma & grandpa drove for 2 days to come visit me-aren't they just the best?!

GABRIELLA IN HER KIMONO-PRECIOUS!
The family will be having a "care conference" with the doctors and nurses caring for Gabriella, this week. The surgeon is concerned that Gabriella is at the point (which he suspected might come) where the staff are doing things "to" Gabriella instead of "for" her, if that makes sense. Bottom line, all the "sticking" trying to get a good line for meds and nutrition seem to only hold up a couple of days, before the circulation of fluids seems to stay in the area of the IV placement instead of circulating throughout her little body. They really need another Central Line placement at this point. Basically, he is suggesting "let nature take it's course", but we are not at that point at this time. Pray.

Sunday - a very tiring day for Gabriella
Sunday's update. IV in hand had to be replaced today, along with normal traech tie changes, etc. Family visit today & bathtime very tiring for Gabriella. At the beginning of bathtime, secretions buildup in mouth in addition to stress of the day caused a drop in heart rate and SATS very quickly. Attending nurse and Nurse Practioner were right on it and Gabriella responded well, but was distressing to see, of course. Angelina assisted with bathtime for the first time.
