Friday Night - Gabbie in her Jammies
Her favorite toy these days is the handmade yellow elephant (since named Sunshine) from Great Uncle Greg's visit this past spring. She has been responding (lifting arm to touch with hand) well to this particular toy-it appears that Sunshine has a special meaning to Gabbie. (similar to her Froggie attachment)October 03, 2008
Friday - 4 Episodes of Seizure Activity.

Today Gabbie had more "breakthrough seizures". Her seizure meds were reduced a bit, thus allowing the seizures (that the doctors predicted might happen) to breakthrough the medication. Gabbie appeared to the family to be in discomfort and even possibly some pain throughout the past couple of days. Due to this, the family is having to now make a very hard decision for Gabbie. Contrary to previously, the family is feeling a peace about this decision. We ask for your prayers at this hard time in our life. We thank Dr. Bass for his compassion and dedication to Gabbie, as well as the other Neonatalogists and doctors involved in Gabbie's care over the months. We thank all the Nurses & hospital staff that love Gabbie so much. We ask that our Gabbie have Peace.
