hello, just an update from Teresa's visit w/Gabriella today. She spent several hours in hospital today where she got to hold her, bathe her and dress her along w/changing diapers, applying lotion, etc today.

Baby Gabriella was very happy giving mom & nurses lots of smiles. She has been sitting in her bouncer up to 2 hrs per day. She gets her traech changed on Wednesdays and cleaned everyday. She is down to around 22 on her breathing machine.

The doctors want to talk with us, but are telling Teresa that Gabriella is doing very well, loving the breastmilk feedings and up to 7 lbs 7 oz now. They are wanting/hoping to do surgery now in 3-5 months-perhaps this summer should all continue to go as well as the last month.

Hello, just a quick update, as Angelina is having a sleepover tonight for her birthday next week, and we have our hands full!

Gabriella is steadily progressing-she is opening her eyes at the sound of our voices when we visit, but is still heavily medicated for now. Her traech procedure went very well and she looks more content to have the tube apparatus out of her mouth.

She is again taking Teresa's breast milk through her stomach tube increasing the amount daily. Besides those miracles, we had another one today-the doctors discovered that she has more of a diaphram than they had thought-this is exactly what I have been praying for!

I have to say-to God be the glory for this and all the other daily miracles we have seen. We will continue to pray for/believe in/expect miracles for Gabriella so that she can have a good and full quality of life. Thankyou so much for your support, as always.

Just a quick update. Gabriella had a good day today with everything stable.

The nurse said that Friday was a rough day for her, she was very irritated at the tubes in her nose/throat/hand/foot, so they have given her a sedative now to help her stay calm.

The traechotomy is Thursday-not sure what time-please keep her in your prayers as always. This should reduce her stress over the tubes and make her more comfortable.

I visited her on my lunch hour today-she was sleeping-she looked like a little angel. They had put one of her sleepers on her that I had bought her this past weekend-she looked adorable. We are always hopeful.
