A Soothing Lullaby - Gabbie's Cry - Mommy Comforts.

Movement After Seizures Passed.

The Neurologist said that Gabbie's movements after her recent seizures was a good sign, even though it was painful for family to watch.

Monitoring Complete, Seizures Passed, Trying to Relax.

Painful Spinal Tap to be done this evening. (Friday) Not sure when results will be in.

Finding Comfort with the Familiar Touch of Her Rattle.

Gabbie During Medication Administering.

Gabbie starts to relax a little as she comes out of seizure onset.

Gabbie Monitored During Seizure.

Notice fixed eyes and clenched fist. Grandma tried (gently) but could not get Gabbie's fist unclenched during the seizure onset monitoring.

Gabbie hooked up to machine for Seizure Monitoring.

Trying to Focus in on Mommy.

Pic taken a few minutes before seizure onset.

Friday Morning, Right Before Seizure Onset

Gabbie's eyes appear glassy. Pic was taken by mom maybe 20 minutes before onset of seizures began.

Thursday Afternoon.

Gabbie still on the cooling pad. Temp running 100-101F. No bacterial infection found anywhere. Testing done today to check for any blood clots in her veins and heart. Next step is to explore the Neuro Atrophy & Brain Stem issue that she was diagnosed with over a month ago. It is possible that the brain stem is not regulating her heart rate & temperature as it should causing spike temps & increased heart rate. What we are told - nothing can be done for this defect either. The 108F temperature is most times certain death we were told. God was with Gabbie once again. Thank you to those prayer warriors rallying around her. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Wednesday Night.

A peek at mom.

I love you, family.

The Little Warrior.

Wednesday - So Far, Tests are Negative.

So far, Gabbie's tests have come back negative. White blood cell count down to normal, as well. Normal to low grade temperature off/on today. Gabbie has been waking for short periods of time, but irritable. (expected!) She tried to take the tubes out with her splinted hand when freed for a few minutes, resulting in scratches to her face/nose from the IV/splint on her hand. No test for her brain ordered as of yet, (to check for damage from high fever) however, pupils are reacting normal and she is moving and responding to voices and noise. These are positive & hopeful signs. God reminds us of his power & that all things are in his hands. Pastor Brian, now we understand in full why God laid Gabbie on your heart over this previous weekend. Again, God's timing is perfect.

Rest, Sweet Baby Girl.

Grandma Praying for Gabbie.

Resting After a Very Stressful Day.

Gabbie Now Placed on Cooling Pad.

Cooling pad is supposed to help regulate temperature & gives a digital readout of Gabbie's temperature at all times.

"Houdini" hand.

Gabbie's "houdini" hand now has orders to be "restricted" due to the seriousness of keeping the feeding tube in place. At present, an IV also restricts her.
