In the midst of all these good days, a not so good day has occured. Gabriella had two episodes today-the first time in many days. Her SATS and heart rate got very low-one time having to be Coded. Not sure what triggered these-all weekend, her mucus has been thick and her traech tube easily "plugged" as they say. Not sure if maybe the nurse waited too long for suctioning or if something else is bothering Gabriella, but she does not tolerate any "mucus buildup" in her throat and traech areas, and needs constant attention. This afternoon (and now evening) things seem to be stable. We ask for your prayers, as always. She has been doing better than expected lately, and her 4 yr old sister is coming for a visit this Saturday and there are plans to have all three sisters take pictures together. This is a monumental moment that the family would like to capture for the girls. Thanks for lifting us up.
