9 AM TUESDAY - RUNNING A FEVER.

Mom goes to visit on Tuesday morning, 9 am, and discovers Gabbie sweating profusely, her clothes and bedclothes wet. Nurse takes temp and discovers 40C. Mom strips Gabbie of her clothes and gets a cold cloth for her head, while the nurse suctions her (lots of white foam in traech line, which means that she hadn't been suctioned for awhile!) and strips her bedding for clean ones. Needless to say, not too happy with Nurse today. Sorry to say that she didn't appear too attentive to Gabbie's urgent needs of frequent suctioning. Also, the feed line ran dry and she almost gave Gabbie the wrong (another baby's) milk, which could have been very (critically?) harmful to Gabbie due to the special formula she has been taking in. Not the greatest of days, but God was watching over her. He also gave Teresa the wisdom to watch the Nurse closely-she discovered the milk error right before the Nurse began to add it to the line. God is good.
