IV & Feeding Tube - Again.

Early morning was spent getting a new IV (in hand) and preparation for a trip down to x-ray for feeding tube placement. In the meantime, Gabbie's fever spiked from around 102 up to around 105 within a few hours. Tests, tylenol, antibiotics, cold compresses. Initial testing came back ok with some elevated white blood cells. Gratefully, Nurse Michele was with Gabbie today, along with Nurse Rosemary, Nurse Sandy and NP Deedee on staff, as well. All were at Gabbie's side today, as well as Dr. Kahn and four to five other nurses & respiratory. Gabbie is truly loved.
