Nurse Rosemary told Grandma that no medicated cremes are being used at this time for Gabbie's wound-only applications of a vaseline type creme along with frequent dressings. There is a "spout like" drain inserted at present for drainage, however, any drainage seems to be coming for the top area of the wound and not through the spout. It is likely the spout will be removed this coming week. Nurse Rosemary also said that she is "amazed" at how much the skin has already covered more of the area since Thursday's surgery and the revelation that skin had already started to grow over the area underneath the Gortex mesh. Another sign of God's mercy and grace and healing power.
