The recent Care Conference on Tuesday afternoon was as the family expected, an update on the recent high temperature & seizures and more clarification from the Neurology Doctor, which was much appreciated. It seems the seizures originated in the back part of the brain (sorry, forgot the medical name) and may have caused damage to Gabbie's eyesight - maybe too soon to tell. We have seen her becoming more and more "bright eyed" every day, but with limited focus on objects and people. Her reaction with noise close to her face seems right now non-existent. It seems that the problems related to the central part of her body has also affected her brain, as well-maybe even since formation, when the diaphram & arm were compromised. The prognosis, of course, is not good-as before. The family's main concern is Gabbie's comfort level-discomfort, pain, distress. Due to this, the family is now reconsidering that difficult decision that is even hard to grasp or think about. We ask for God's guidance & your prayerful support.
